just put body back on this weekend.. it now leans slightly towards the drivers side--did not lean before body was removed..

all new suspension bushings,body bushing, springs,shocks.etc...
springs are seated in pockets and everything seems to be right..

the front clip has not been re-installed yet.
could the body just be shifted towards that side or could the front clip still being off be the cause of my problem..

any help????

thanks,
Mike

I would say the front clip will give even weight, so the lean would be the same.. Are the suspension bushings LOOSE ? you have to keep them loose till ALL the weight is on them Engine trans, bodt front clip.. ect..
If they are Loose... set the Frame( not the suspension) on 4 jack stands set at the same level..on a level floor.. NOW measure with a 2X4X8' across and through the door weindo openings. amd across the open trun opening,, this will give you a CLOSE est. of the leveleness of the f Body on the Frame...

You can jack up the front of the car from the frame member under the engine. If it levels out the problems in the front. Visa versa for the rear. When everything is right and it still doesn't work, somethings wrong.

I'm not expert but that never stopped me before;

Have you tried swapping springs from side to side to see if it leand the other way? You may have been sent mismatched springs. The rears are easy to swap. Try just doing them first.
