I am about to install my inner and outer fenders in my 70 chevelle, and I was wondering what the best way to do it is. Should I start with the inside, or the outer first, I just painted them, and I would like to keep them scratch-free. Any info would be great, and I totally appreciate any help you guys could help me out with!
P.S. any other tips would be great.

I put them on with no scratches. I put the fender on first. That is easy to install with a couple towels in the right places. When I did the wheel wells, I but a sheet (because it's thin) over the whole wheel well and after it was in possition, I pulled it out enough to get a couple bolts in. Then I pulled the rest of the sheet out and installed the rest of the bolts...

Thanks for the hints, I will try the towel and sheet idea, that definetely will help with the scratches, if anyone else has any more ideas, that would be great!
