I got a new catalog from Muscle Facroty in Placentia CA. I remember them from before, and now will actually be ordering parts from places. I'm gonna be converting a Monte dash in place of my sweep, and will be adding at minimum a tach in place of the clock. (Don't want a Covan's setup either).

Specifically, Muscle Factory has a conversion kit for 70/71s to convert SS light dashes to gauge dashes, including tach, gauges, printed board, and instructions for under $400. I'm not looking for an exactly perfect, NOS, or concours deal, just something that looks appropriate, nice, and works.

Does anyone else know of a setup like this from anywhere else?

Just curious good/bad/other how people felt.

The people at The Muscle Factory are good folks. They have supplied some of the parts on my '65.

I have had good luck with them. Their parts are pretty good.

Don't bother with their front spring as I ordered a set and it put the front end up 2-3" and they would not compress.

Otherwise I think they sell the same parts as the others but generally at a slightly lower price. Their catalog isn't as nice, but who cares. They save you money on the parts. I haven't bought the guage set yet.

Ive bought many parts from them over the years, no complaints at all. Earlier this year I spent clos to 2k on all the trim, grilles, emblems, brightwork, etc. All looks pretty good, except the grill. I had to open 5 boxes before finding one that looked good to me. Glad I drove out instead of ordering this time.

In short I think they are a safe bet overall if you are ordering over the phone.

I've never had a problem with them or True-Connections. They seem like they know their stuff. I don't know if Dave is still the owner/manager, but he was very helpful.
