Bill...What are you using in that monster of yours for axles, gears, carrier etc...?

Moser axles, US Gear 3.73, Eaton posi with all steel clutches & 800 lb springs...all in a welded tubed, Ford style bearing ended, good old GM 12 bolt. Doesn't see the track too often...maybe 5-6 times a year. Traction not nearly as good on the street as with the slicks, of course. Probably why I haven't had the mis-fortune others have had lately with broken ring gears. I may run the car this Sunday at a local 1/8 mi track. They're having a Show N Go event. I've really been into the Car shows and Cruise nights lately... Ron Well, it`s been awhile, way too long since I had BigRed out. The last time I drove it was the night of the ET in the signature. I got a warning to slow it down (NO ROLL BAR) I`m not ever going to put a bar in it, but since the rules have changed I can still play somemore. But I want to work the rear end over and was considering a lockright or maybe better spiders etc... But hey now...on another note.. a 496" is going into our 78 Camaro any day now. | ||
