I saw an ad on ebay for a prefab trunk interior with mdf and carpet. Sort of a do it yourself kit. It looked pretty good and was only a couple of hundred dollars. It said that it would fit a 68 through 72 chevelle. I guess my question is if the interior trunks are all the same for those years of cars or would some modification of the kit be nescesary?

I thinh they're the same- the body line from the roof to the quarters are nearly identical. The only question I'd have is at the back with the trunk. I think the tie bar or plate at the top of the rear trunk are the same.

I have tried looking up some info online but am unable to find anything that differentiates the trunks of those years from each other. It would be nice if someone else has had experience boxing or enclosing their trunks for sound systems, etc.
