Does anyone have a good close-up of the inner fender bracing panels on a 70-72?? I'm beginning to restore the passenger side front fender and the inner fender bracing panels are rusted to the point that I cannot tell the shape and how they interface with the outer metal. This would be at the bottom sections both in front and behind the wheel well. Does this make any sense at all? I'm confusing myself! Thanks in advance.

OK, instead of pictures, does anyone know of a place the remanufactures the fender supports braces? I see year one has them for '69, but not for 70. I look in the classifieds also. Thanks.
1 of mine was rusted out at the bottom too. I don't think it is reproduced. He had to fabricate it up. He was really good and I was getting a "friend" price.
I can try to get a picture of it tonight.
The cost of a used fender (Memory Lane, Sundells, etc...) might be worth it if you are paying someone to fab it up.

Thanks everyone. By the looks of the pictures, I dont's think I have the means to fabricate something like that. graemlins/sad.gif I think what I'll do is take Anthony's advise and see if this guy will cut out a brace, or i make look for a dented up fender that is beyond repair, cosmetically, and see about cutting out the bracing on it. I think we should all open up our own aftermarket supply shop and make all of these pieces that are unavailable. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
