Are they decent products and comparable to Dupont or PPG? Or is more comparible to Nason(synthetics)? Maybe you save some doe because your not paying for tech support like the big boys?

I have used the transtar clear several times. I like it a lot shines nice and buffs nice reminds me of chromaclear.

On budget jobs i've been using U-Tech basecoat.Made by Akzo Nobel(They make Sikkens and Leasonal).Its an activated basecoat that covers like a mother. Ususally $60 to $110 a GALLON!Depending on the color. And Nason clear (Made by Dupont for about $80 a gallon. I have had awesome results with this combo. I've also used the Nason 2k urethane primer which is cheap and works great.
