What is the correct color for the two brackets that attach the grille to core support? Is it the body color or a black? Any help appreciated. 70 SS

If your brackets are all rusted w/no paint on them, they must be plain metal. If not I would say black.

The color of the grill brackets would be black and have a semi gloss shine. I would not paint them metal or body color as you would see them through the grill, where the black would just blend in.
