need to repaint dash and am having trouble removing pad (guess it's easy once you know how - screws are out, but there appear to be clips underneath). any good books that tell/show how to remove the dash and assemblies?

Four studs thru the dash held down with 3/8" nuts in addition to the screws you already removed.

Actually on a 67 there is 6 studs and nuts, I just went out and counted.

You will probably have to drop the front part of the dash to get to the nuts holding the front of the dash pad on.
