MY wife is tearing out the trash compactor. Seems like waste to toss it, but I can't think of anything clever to use it for in the shop. Maybe to crush beer cans? :beers:

Just use it as a compactor for the shop. Lots of automotive parts come in either cardboard boxes or plastic bubble packs. It seems like I'm always taking out the shop garbage more because of bulk than anything else. The compactor would make nice work of that stuff -- oh yeah -- and all those beer cans too.

I've always wanted an old dish washer in the garage for parts and tools, and a dishwasher for rags, and an oven for powder coating.

Yeah, you're right, I should just toss it out there and use it (at least whenever the shop gets built... I'm still planning it). I was wondering if anyone had converted one into a shop press or metal flanger or something cool like that. I bought a small toaster oven for baking small parts I paint. There has to be a 'fridge for the beer, with a freezer for A-arm bushings. Looks like I need a complete kitchen and bathroom.:D
