I remember a few years back in Chevelle World Chuck put a new pad on the rear bumper of his L-78 ragtop. Does anyone remember what issue that was, or know where else I can find that information. I am getting ready to do that same thing here in the next few days and was wanting some direction.

I got a new bumper for mine last summer and just used a torch to heat the back side of my old bumper and had my wife slowly pull the old rubber pad off as I heated the glue that held the original on. I then got some special glue(I'll get you the name tomorrow) and glued it fast to my new bumper! I did prep the bumper with acetone and any extra glue that seeped out I cut off with an exacto knife. If I did it over again I would have went a little lighter on the glue. I know that I got my information from a post here so you might want to try the search function.
