I painted my 69s fire wall sunday. Monday i did not like it. Stripped to bare matal again.
It has about 20 dimples from a pick hammer or center punch, something along those lines. Are these factory and what is the best way to fill them? They are about 1/8th" deep 1/8th" across. I was thinking a two part epoxy, body filler, ect. Which would be the best for holding up?

Those are factory dimples used to help the line workers locate the correct spot to attach certain items.

Just remove paint fill with a good regular body filler like Evercoat's Rage or Rage gold. Sand and prime with a 2k urethane primer surfacer.
Then paint.
