I ran across a guy that has a Richmond 5 speed with straight cut gears, 3.27 first gear. (He says the trans has syncros in it not the dog rings sliders). Along with a dual disk 11" centerforce clutch set up and a long vertical gate shifter for sale out of his Chevelle.
He wants 3500 for everything.

I wanted a tranny that I can pull the gears with out using the clutch on the strip.
I am still up in the air about this one. I know I still can get a new 4 speed Jerico for about the same price new or chance this one.

What's your thoughts on this. Is this a good deal. Is that trans good for speed shifting or use with some type of adjustable style clutch.
