Hi. What is the best way of removing the glass from the drivers door etc,from the track that it is glued into,and what type of sealent do you use to reinstall it. Thanks ps Should the glass be installed in the track outside the car, or while it is still mounted in the doors.

if you are talking about the stainless channel around the the glass there is a special material[available at the auto glass shop]that is taped to the glass then apply some oil to the fabric and tap the trim ring onto the glass and tape into place.the oil will help the trim to slide on and cause the fabric to swell,holding the trim in place and sealing the two together.
