I was in the process of removing the left rear body mount on my 72 el camino and it snapped off! There is no access to the other end of the bolt so idk what to do. There is a hole to the right of the body mounton the frame, can i just drill a new hole in the body and move the whole body mount over?
thanks
steve

I'm not familiar with any year after 67, but there is access to that bolt, but it's not pleasant to get to. You will end up cutting the body, tacking the nut cage back in and putting in a new bolt. It's a pretty common deal that makes changing the body bushings the largest PITA of all jobs, in my opinion http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif.
Hopefully, someone with a 72 assembly manual or 72 knowledge will step in here and give you additional information about that particular bolt.
