I just finished cutting out my full floor board, i started to POR 15 everything, can i por the overlap where i will be welding on the new floor?

Not only no, but heck no....Most of the suppliers have what they call "weld through primer" I got mine from NPD, but I think my local welding supply has it also.

If you do get that primer you need to clan all surfaces to bare metal and only put the primer on the "back side" of the metal, not on the surface where you are going to weld....

Hope this helps. You can "POR" over your weld when you are done.

Weld first, then apply Por. The fumes are as nasty as the overspray you get from spraying it. You don't want any part of it in your lungs.
