Hey guys dumb question I was filling out the Chevelle registry and went outside to get the info off the cowl tag but couldn't find it. I was wondering where I should be looking? Its a 72 http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif if that helps the location.

Open the hood, look on the drivers side on top of the cowl. This is the area outside of the window in front of the dash that the hood covers when it's closed. Next to the hinge.

It should be located under the hood on the drivers side firewall (on top).

Hmmmm. thats what I thought. All I have is 2 holes there. I don't remember taking the tag off my car but I know it is not there now.
