if you are staying out by luke AFB then they have a car show every sat. starts about 4-5 pm and goes till everyone leaves it's in a parking lot behind the wendy's off power rd. and hampton in mesa.....it's cool it gets big in the cooler months not that many people show up when it's hot. but it goes all year. the pavillions gets big but it's up there in scottsdale kind of a drive from the east valley.

Isn't Luke AFB near Speedworld? If so...that's a heck of a drive to Mesa from there :)

A closer cruise than going to Pavillions from Luke AFB area would be to go to the cruise at 83rd Ave and Lake Pleasant parkway...it's also on Saturday nights. It really starts ramping up around 5-6pm

sorry it used to be an air force base it is now williams field airport. it still looks like an air force base. luke AFB is in glendale...steve

You will have to excuse my Phoenix cousins, whenever anyone mentions AZ they assume Phoenix is the whole state :D , but then so do the politicians when it comes to sharing the general fund ;)
Most of the cruise in's and shows will be gathering momentum with the cooler weather. Here in Tucson there are shows the next 2 weekends and this weekend the funny cars will be running at the local dragstrip with a car show in the pits sponsered by a local club. Admission is free for car and driver which is a deal that is hard to pass up. Oh btw there is no spectator side at the track, every ticket is a pit pass, how is that for awesome:D

I've got a grand opening of our newest store in Surprise this weekend...then on Saturday evening I'll be at Pavillions. The folllowing weekend we have Oktoberfest at our Victory BMW motorcycle dealer in Chandler...and the weekend after that I'm at the Truckin Nationals at Firebird...then SEMA after that :p :)
