Ok guys just wondering what you all think.
I've got a real important car show this friday that Id like to attend looking a little better than my current multi color primer cow paint job. Just wondering if you think its possible to do in 3 days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Lets say 4:00pm till bout 10:00pm Each day.
I know every piece on this car and probably get it stripped down in a few hours.
But what all would you guys recommend taking off or out?
Heres a pic of the car currently

it's possible but you're going to just redo it later when you realize what a crappy job you did

don't ask me how I know :)

Scuff it up, mask off, spray some dark grey primer with a flat black hood. Do it "right" later.

Wish I left my car in primer to avoid the bodyshop cost/headache, seriously. Didnt have to worry about dings/dents...People generally figured the car looked uninsured and stayed away from it. :D

Keep the cow. Don't waste your time or $$ until you can take the time to do it right.

I'd do an enamel guidecoat and see how it looks. If the bodywork still has issues than sand it lightly with 400 grit and roll through the car show until you can finish it.

I'm in a simmilar problem. My HOA has made an issue of my old wagon. It's 3 colors of primer and has not been registered since 2002. Now I have to register it and make it presentible, or hide it. I had it in the garage but the bodywork on the Chevelle prevents that. It does not comply with the cc&r's so it was no supprise to me. Wish I could spend the money and give it a good paint job but thats not possible yet.
