I'm looking to upgrade my rear suspension. I will sacrifice ride quality for a hard launch as my car is just a toy, not a daily driver. I was looking at the Edelbrock upper adjustable control arms or a Lakewood set. Do I really need the lower adjustable or will a fixed set do. I was also thinking of adding a set of Lakewood ladder bars. Will these clear my stock fuel tank or will I need to upgrade to a fuel cell. This is a first project so I'm kinda running blind, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I would look at either UMI's lower control-arm relocation brackets (if stock ride height) or Edelbrock's No-Hop bars (if higher than stock)

Both will help your launch, eliminate wheel-hop, and have no effect on ride-quality.

I'm running Eddy adjustable uppers (best upper for the $$$ IMO) and Eddy no-hops. No sacrifice in ride quality that I can tell, and both work superb.

Dont think you need anything other than boxed lowers, just one other thing to adjust and drive you nuts.
