Hello everyone.
Does any one know what the coolant volumes are for a 454 block without heads and with heads. I am draining the water out of the engine to winterize the car but need to know how much will be left in the block after the draining process????????? No heater etc.

If you drain all of the coolant and leave it to dry out, you are going to do nothing but promote rust inside your block, leave the anti freeze in it.

I was not suggesting I would leave it dry.

After working through this today, each side orf the block holds 1 US gallon. I drained the rad then drained each side of the block measuring the liquid volume at each stage. MAn was I bored:boring: .
