I am coming to the point where i need to pick my color and I am either going to use a solid or metallic light blue. i also need to paint the interior so what i need to know is: Will it look completely rediculous if i spray the inside with metallic? should i just go with the solid color for the sake of ease?
thanks

By interior do you mean the seats, dash, door panels, etc.? Yep, that would look ridiculous. If you mean the metal surfaces (I can't even think of anywhere inside that metal shows) then that would be fine.

yeah i mean the metal parts. stuff like the dash and doors. i know it's very few places where it shows but it does. also i've heard that spraying metallics is harder because they are heavy and the paint can sag. what's the deal with that?

there are metal parts that show. on my '70 Elky SS, the area below the rear window & inside pillars are metal and show. the door jams should be the same color as the outside. the pillars and rear area should be a color compatible with your interior color. for example: my elky will be the factory autumn gold(almost ready to paint)with saddle interior. the factory color of the pillars and rear area are a sort of beige or light saddle (i purchased the proper colors from one the resto places). the dash is saddle also.

If you like it go for it. As for spraying the paint, sorry I have no experience at all.
