: BIG surprise!!
Removed Oct 1st, 06, 7:34 AM A week ago my wife and I were sitting around the house on Saturday with our chores done and basically just chilling out. Coming up on lunch we decided to go eat some BBQ of which we did and afterwards to kill some time that afternoon she says "lets go look at some harleys". Catching me by surprise I said OK and off we went. We looked at all the bikes and just generally had a good time being together. I explained the differences in the models and said if I ever got anotherone it would have this, this and this on it.
Yesterday, the Saturday household chores are done and I noticed my wife power washing the garage and driveway and I thinking "why is she doing that?" Then the phone rings and it is the local harley dealer and he says "Mr. Lane Your bike is ready." I almost dropped the phone. My wife bought me a 2007 Harley Electra Glide Std., blue with the 96 engine and six speed tranny. (this is exactly what I wanted if I bought one). I did not know she did this.........and why was she powerwashing the garage and driveway, to give the bike a good welcome home and not having any red carpet she cleaned the garage and driveway instead. Am I a lucky guy or what! Yup, I love my wife!!
WOW!!!!!:beers:
She's a keeper:D

Cameano Oct 1st, 06, 1:38 PM Uh, oh. I told my wife to stop by the Pontiac dealer last weekend, and let her test drive a Solstice. Does this mean I have to buy her the car? :clonk: :D
Congrats on the bike! Stop in over at v-twinforums.com (www.v-twinforums.com/forums) to answer any questions you might have on your new ride. Some people are not liking the sound of the spur cut 5th gear in their trannys. Not used to the difference in sound from the helical cut gears on 2-4, 6.
texaspilot180 Oct 2nd, 06, 9:20 AM What ever you been slipping into her food, keep doing it, and tell us what it is and where to get it. FANTASTIC! She must want something though, so be ready....

SS_Dave Oct 2nd, 06, 9:40 AM Wow, you lucky dog! :beers:
A little friendly advice...
Don't take what she did for granted.
Make sure you reciprocate somewhere down the line.
I'm sure you already know this though.
I got a good one too.
My wife has done things like this for me.
Weve been married 36 years now.
I just bought her a new fridge and range Saturday.
For anyone else, they may not be excited, but she
loves being in the kitchen cooking, so she is pretty pumped up.
I'll just get fatter.
ssal396 Oct 2nd, 06, 9:54 AM I think I'll show my wife this thread just to put the pressure on :D
