Hey ya'll how's it going? I'm new here and to the whole car restoration business so I've got a few questions. When I turn my headlights on my taillights don't work. :angry: The turn signals, brake lights, and reverse lights still work but thats it. I don't know what the deal is some have said it was in the switch and others said in the wiring in the back.:confused: Whatever info ya'll could give would be really appriciated. This is on a 76 El Camino.

Welcome to the site. I'll try and steer you towards a solution to your problem. Lets start with some easy checks first.
Do your dash lights work? If no you have a blown fuse. If yes then check to see if voltage is present at the bulb socket.
If voltage is good at the tailights replace the bulbs and post back with results.
