I'm thinking about replaceing the drivers side door skin on my '67. How hard is this to do? It looks simple, but I know looks can be missleading.

"Hard" is a relative term. Here is the procedure, "Basics of Basics" Door skin replacment. (http://www.camaros.net/forum/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=005436)

Thanks, I just found that thread a minute ago. It looks like it's harder to get the old skin off than it is to get the new one on.

IMO if the door shell is sound and no repair work there. The hardest part is fitting the door B-4 final welding.sealing..double that if the hinges were removed from the cowl and the door graemlins/angry.gif

I did both doors skins on my 65, after reading MartinSr basics. It is not that hard. Getting the skin off is easy. folding the lip over on the new skin takes patience. but is not hard. Positioning the skin to tack weld it in place before you fold the lip is the key. I bought the special door skin body hammer to help fold the lip. Works wonders. Good luck.
