What's up boys? I have an '80 454 in my chevelle and I stripped out the 3/8 plug in the oil pressure port directly above the oil filter. There seems to be a smaller one right next to it. I backed out that plug and the pressure sending unit screwed right into it. Turns out, it's a better location anyway because the z-bar wouldn't allow me to put it in the bigger port? My question is, is this an oil pressure port? I hope it is because I don't feel like pulling the motor after all this hard work. How many oil pressure ports would this motor have anyway? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
