Hi,
I was wondering if I have the wrong wood wheel adapter for a 66 chevelle or will this not fit on a stock steering column. The #'s on the adapter are 3845728 and when I go to put it on the adapter hits the steering wheel hub without going on to the shaft. Any one heard of this problem?

I am not sure of your part number withou taking my steering wheel assembly apart. With the correct hub you should be able to press it on and the pub facing the steering housing should be or have offset about an 1/8 of an inch. That should allow for a clearance when pressing the 2 spoke wheeel hub on. If it will not clear that when pressing it on it could and sounds like you might have the wrong hub.
