Hi, My seat on my 65 is rippled on the top. Can any of you tell me how I can fix this. Pleae click on my sig at bottom to see the seat photo. Thanks Guys.

Hi Smoke,

The only thing that may help at this point, without removing the cover is sitting it in the sun. The heat may help shrink the extra material a bit once it cools.

It looks like the cover was sewn with a piece that was too big... hence the ripples in it. If you want to take on removing the cover, extra padding may help fill it up, but it should really have a new piece the correct size installed.

Were these covers you had made or did you buy them from a company? If you had them made, I would take them back to the upholstery shop and have it redone.

If this is a new cover, you might just have to give it some time. Like Dot said, you could try to put them in the sun, it usually helps a lot. A hair dryer and some careful heating and stretching could help too.

It looks like it wouldn't take too much foam to firm it up.
