Hey guys, Just jumped over from Team Camaro to ask a question. I have a real 72 SS 454 hardtop that i'm gonna be selling and was wondering what its worth. I havent seen many on the market so i'm up in the air as to its value. Its a original 454/Auto car that currently sports a 69 396 w/4 speed . Its an air conditioning car with all the air still hooked up.It has new full quarters, wheel houses, trunk extensions, door skins, fenders, cowl hood. Its got buckets and a console and 5 spoke ralley wheels. Its in finished primer and runs and drives good.It comes with a complete 72 malibu parts car.
Dont be bashful, let the opinions fly.
thanks,
bob

Pictures would help a great deal, without seeing the condition of the car for many it would be a wild guess.

Let me take a stab at it. A numbers #2 matching SS454 may bring $28,500 (my estimate).
It's in primer with new sheetmetal -$8000 paint cost
It's missing the original motor and needs converted back to auto -$5000
Miscellaneous costs to replace the interior, exterior trim pieces, wheels or tires, suspension, etc. -$4500
Bad color combination -$1,500
Somewhere in the neighborhood of $9K to 10K.
Flame away!

It's worth as much as you can get.

Many may not chime in b/c it is hard to tell the diff. between an ADD being posted and a What's it worth Post?? You admit you are selling or will be selling your car, and that may be taken as an add by some
Are you new to the Chevelle hobby and that's why you do not know the Value of your own car? Just curious.

I'd say its worth about 100.00 bucks. But since I had a really good week at work and I'm willing to give you 200.00!

Thanks for the replys guys, I'm gonna dig it out of storage in the next few weeks and i'll post some pics. I understand that its hard to quote a worth without seeing it. I'm gonna put it all back together, and sell it as an uncompleted project..........that you can drive home.
thanks,
bob
