How do I remove this without messing it up? I have one piece that has a ding, but I am prepping the body for the body work and paint.

You can buy a tool from opg or just make one look at pitcure of tool get
die grinder cut one out use stiff piece of thin metal and slide level with the glass
catch the point of the tool to the clip under molding go very slow just apply light pressure with other hand and it will pop off go slowwwww and you wont damage it if you get ding just pound out slow i use steel in a vice on top of the steel i lay the leather glove one top side with piece of stiff leathe different sise rounded chisel ends depends on contour of what your trying to smooth
