My 72 chevelle is ready for stripes. Color is bahama blue metallic. I was ready for white stripes, but considering black as well. Any one have some pics of similar car colors to sway my vote?

Black stripes w/ black interior. I think the white stripes would contrast with your interior.

Its been done both ways no matter what color interior from the time they were built until now. Black on black with white stripes, Burgundy, black int. w white stripes, etc.

Your call. Contrast is not necessarily a bad thing. The other thing to consider is wear. White will not show dirt as bad, scratches, swirl marks, webbing, knicks, scrapes, etc. whereas it will really stand out on a dark car w/ black sripes (as I have black stripes, BTDT)

Personally, I like white stripes on darker cars w/ black interior as it breaks things up a little but people think im weird so take it with a grain of salt.

yeah i like the contrast white offers, but black would look mean.
