I had an erxtra 700r4 sitting around here and I figured since it didn't work anyway, I would tear it down. I took it apart and put it back together just for practice. I'm going to go ahead and rebuild it, but I need to know if there are any special "tricks" to rebuilding one? Any help would be appreciated.

No, nothing special about the 700. Just like any trans, make sure you have all the specialty tools for the job.
If you need any tools or parts, call this place, they have everything and definitely know what they're talking about. Alot of people around here get their parts from them.
