Thought I'd post this for reference. I had the roll cage finished and window net fitted for my car and also had the shop scale the car. Here's the #'s
LF-980 RF-884 = 1866 52.2%
LR-877 RR-832 = 1710 47.8%
These figures are with 240lb driver and the cell 1/3 full. I typically top the tank off before I hit the track which would add another ~8gals. Wish I would have topped the tank off before I took it to the shop but, these #'s are close enough for me to make some front spring changes.

When I had my car scaled the guy told me around 52% is when they hook well,
I guess he's right!
Front spring changes? It leaves good with the wheels around 6-9 inches up and
carries well, dont wanna have it come up to much and waste too much forward energy.
You did fix the important things - right?
less gear
loosen the stall
Whens the next track outing, I'm ready (to watch / push thru the staggin lanes) with this nicer weather!

Friday would be good.
We may have to go to the finish line and hear that SB of yours scream at 8000rpm, that would be cool!

John - I have no credentials as a suspension guy, but I have been told that you should shoot for a LF-RR cross weight approximately 50 lbs heavier then the RF-LR. So you're right on the money. And, your 47.8% beats the crap out of our 45.3%.
Does this reflect some tweaks, or has it always been in that neighborhood?

Roger, no tweaks yet. Same suspension settings as with the 422. With the tank full, I'm gonna say it will weigh around 3620. If that shows to be correct, then the car has gained about 60lbs since removing the 422. With the addition of the GlassTek hood and new motor, I'd guess about 35 of those 60 lbs are on the front. So, the weight bias now is probably worse than what I had before.
