Hi Guys, i ned some advise for my next step in my project 65 el camino. I have a fiberglass Z 28 style cowl induction hood section to glass onto my original hood. The glass add on portion is just the raised 2 1/4 " you see on typical Z 28 hoods.
My question: what advice can you give for getting a solid bond between the fiberglass addition and the steel hood? Thanx Bob Myers NC

They always crack no matter what you try. expanding at differnt rates. It's alot of work only to see a crack next year. Find a used steel hood and cut the metal cowl part off of it and weld it to your hood. Same amout of work.
