my friend has a 1999 camaro and he was trying to put on new front brakes but the bracket that holds the caliper is not the right one at all. the person that owned the car before put this bracket on, but it does not work. when we put the pads on they were about 1/4 in. away from the rotor. if anyone can help me with this promble or can tell me where i can buy two new brackets that would be great.

I'm trying to get a visual here.

Is this for a C5/C6 big brake conversion? And maybe you guys are trying to put the stock setup back on? Or are trying to get a big brake setup working on the '99?

I have brackets for 4th gen. F-bodies ('93-'02) that bolt up C5 or C6 brakes (all the way up to 14" C6 Z06 brakes). PM me for details.
