i replaced the rear quarters on my 69. the area where the lower rear quarter meets the trunk pan is a problem area. the inner panel has been shaved off about 2 inchs due to rust.they no longer meet . what are your thoughts? should i fiberglass this area? or try to weld a 2" wide piece of sheetmetal in there or any other ideals. thanks gary

I would weld a piece in there.

Ditto to 70isFine.. The "Trunk Filler Panel" is not a hard one to hand fabracate, but is availible After market.
