Can anyone tell me if I can use a standard oval port carbureted intake on a GM Vortec 454 L29 crate motor. I have one that has never been fired up. I also want to know what hydraulic roller cam is a good upgrade? I've read the zz502 cam is a good replacement for the stock HR. Will an Edelbrock RPM Airgap work? Any information is appreciated.
