I have a 71 monte dash and i would like to put in aftermarket gauges,is there any surprises i should know about.I have 72 velle W/horizon,any input appreciated.

If your 71 dash has a harness it will not work in your 72 with out moving wires around in the bulkhead. I recommend you get a 72 gauge dash harness. You don't need it you can modify your sweep dash harness to work with the SS/Monte gauge dash or if you have a 71 SS/Monte light harness, you can modify it to work in your 72. You will need an engine harness for gauges or you will need to add wires for the AMP gauge and tach. Last, you may not be concerned about this, the 71 dash doesn't have the seat belt warning light.
