I have been fortunate enough to get a one owner '69 SS. The car is largely original, but it has a beautiful re-paint job. Now the problem. The rear light bezels need to be replaced. It appears that the fender extensions must come off to get to the bezel screws. Have any of you found a way to change the bezels without breaking that paint seam on the fender? Can access holes be drilled (UGH!) to get to the screws?

My body shop did the same thing. No other way. Cut the seam and reseal with clear, color sand and buff.
