Have tip in stumble problem with 327 5 speed nova and after playing with carb and fuel thinking of putting in plugs and checking 7 year old 8.5 super conducter MSD plug wires with ohm meter! Have a new voltmeter with ohm scale on it and was told i should be able to check plugwires with the ohm meter on it! Only problem i am not sure how to use it and what to look for on readings!!! Any experience or lessons are greatly appreciated as always. thanks much! AL

Your particular wires are supposed to have 50-60 ohms/foot, so set your voltmeter onto the fitting ohm scale (probably 1000-2000 ohm scale or whatever you have similiar), and then just stick your probes to each end of the wire, get your reading, measure the wires length, and divide your measured resistance by how many feet long it is.
