What side does the ground washer go on .The back side of the dash or on the front after the switch is installed. Thanks

Malibu70 Sep 24th, 06, 6:55 PM We could answer your questions better if you would provide the year and model of the car. I checked some photos of my '70 Chevelle wiper switch, and the ground washer is a ground strap that goes on last. The strap connects the switch to the steel dash frame. Attached to that strap is a ground wire that connects to the headlight switch.
