I'm new to this forum, but I have done a little searching in the archives for
the answer. I've got a '70 Chevelle, originally a powerglide and converting
to muncie 4 speed. With the exception of the speedo cable, which connects to the opposite side of the tranny as compared to the 'glide, I
think I have everything needed to do this swap, including the hump for the floorboard. The archived responses I've found talk about a trial and error method of locating that hump and cutting the hole. The running gear is not in the vehicle and my plans don't include that in the near future. I would, however, like to get the carpet and interior work completed and need to determine the exact location of the hump to keep things rolling along, progress wise. If anyone could provide me the exact measurements to locate this hump, I would appreciate it. Thanks
