How tight do I want to get the imput shaft adjusting nut on my 4 speed? I just got done rebuilding it and this is the last thing I need to do before I put it back in my 67 Chevelle.

Using the special input nut wrench, I always give it all I can (which definitely is over 40lb). Don't forget to stake the nut. ------------------ Tom Parsons | ||
