I have an old fiberglass 69 SS hood that I want to modify. I'd like to do it myself and save myself some bucks but am not sure how to approach it or if it can be done, as I am somewhat of a novice when it comes to bodywork. What I want to do is cut the domed area and raise it about 4 inches as I have a cross-rammed big block. I don't want the motor to stick thru the hood and would like the hood to look factory, but with the domed portion raised. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated graemlins/clonk.gif
