My paint/body guy asked me this afternoon what color my stripes need to be. "White" I said, a dumb answer to a paint guy!

The car is original Mulsanne Blue, and I need to know what color White is correct for the hood/trunk stripes. He uses Sherwin-Williams automotive paints. Anyone?

The paint code for White for '72 Chevelle is Antique White -> Paint Code: 11

Any paint supplier can provide you with the correct color by referencing the paint codes for that year and can easily mix the right formulation.

Code 11 is correct for single stage paint. If memory serves correctly, code 40 is the base/clear equivilent.
