Sure, if you don't mind being deducted a point for them :clonk: My originals look almost as good as those after 35 years and 140,000 miles of use.

I thick it's like a schtickel which is between a dab & a smig.
Bcool Sep 22nd, 06, 4:25 PM the biggest surprise about this... the guy has 100% feedback, that must mean that the people who buy from him enjoy paying ridiculous prices for his stuff.
If anyone is interested I've got some gum for sale but I only chewed it a few times. (OOPS! this should be in the classifieds) Ha HA.
jfkheat Sep 22nd, 06, 6:22 PM I have seen real NOS sill plates sell for well over $1000.

Cameano Sep 22nd, 06, 11:34 PM I'm running a test run of goodies on Ebay right now. Haven't sold in a long time, but decided to clean out some stuff I'll never use, that's just collecting dust. I'm leaving it to the bidders, as I've put up some choice goodies that normally take in good coin. We'll see this weekend if it pans out. No reserves, of course, but I do have a lot of watchers on a couple of items.
The truth with this guy's greed lies in his reserve price. If it's real close to the Buy It Now price, he's only in it for the money. Who knows, reserve could be $50, for all we know. If so, the BIN price is hanging there for a big sucker. I don't waste time with reserves. I know what I paid for the stuff I'm selling, and most of the time, I'll start the auction off right there. FWIW, one of my auctions is for a really nice bumper jack, with hook, for a Cutlass. Complete. Paid $6 for it, started it at $10. But I've been seeing them go complete for around $120. Who knows about the shills. I do know that I don't do it. This is another thing that drove me away from Ebay for the longest time. Cheats, scammers, shill bidders, etc. The guys I used to work with had a little shill ring going on. They gave up asking me to drop in a bid. I told them numerous times, "just put a reserve on it, and be done with it, if you really want a certain price before you let it go."
