Can anyone recommend using a single "BIG" 1pc floor pan? If so, what vendor is a good source? I've seen several posts that have installed the 2pc (left and right side) and have yet to see a 1pc install. thanks - Duff.

If it was available for my 66, in retrospect, I would have gone with a 1 piece. For the 2-piece, the center gap needed to be welded and was hard to maintain a consistent "even" space from the front to the rear, which would have been eliminated with the 1 piece.....

I'm going to go with the one-piece I think. It's $100 more than the two piece, but I think I have enough welding to do without making it harder on myself

I'm doing my 69 right now, went with the 1 pc from Dynacorn, without braces or rockers. Front welds in on top of the factory seam at the toe boards, rockers weld up in original spots, and the only out of place weld is where it butts up to the rear seat pan. Looks more like a factory floor than the 2 piece setup which requires more welding. I did a 2 piece on a friends 71 about a year ago and the 1 pc, in my opinion, is the way to go if you need to replace the floor

I'm doing a 2 piece on the 65 Chevy Wagon i'm doing. I will always buy a one piece if it is available after this project, just to cut back on time and grinding disc.

Not the reponses I expected. Thought the 1pc would be difficult to do. I guess it depends on the condition of the existing floors, braces and rockers. Thanks for the input.....

I just put a one piece in a tri-five and there is no way I could justify using multiple pieces now when the one piece is available.

By the way...we need to count our blessings. The 71 Chevelle floor cost $675.....the tri-five...$2400.
