i purchased some OER SS emblems for my 71, the template i have has 3 mounting holes for each SS, the OER S has 2 studs per S, i have seen the ones with 3 studs on ebay are these the correct ones?
i would have thought that the GM OER ones were correct since ther a licenced GM restoration part

I am looking right now at a pair of NOS "SS" badges out of a 30 year old GM box P/N 3953658 & they definitely have three studs on them. There are long studs on the top & bottom of them with a short stubby one in the center.
Reproductions may look similar in appearance, but may not necessarily mount the same.
Hope this helps.
I love to give home made gifts, which one of the kids would you like?

I just bought a set of NOS fenders, inner fenders, grill etc this past weekend & the fella had a box of SS badges, I did not look at them but I believe they are correct NOS. If you like I can call him & verify them & let you know tomorrow. I am not sure if he has one pair or two pairs of them. Let me know.
