Something is very screwy with my display on my computer! It has reset itself to "16 colors" and when I try to set it to "high color 16 bit" or any other higher resolution, it just goes back to 16 colors. Needless to say, it's tough looking at the screen when the icons are huge and fuzzy. Anyone know what the heck is going on here? It's a Compaq 5600 300mhz Pentium 2 running Windows 98 first edition.

Sounds like a display driver problem. Uninstall the display driver and reinstall it. Another possiblity is the display adapter is bad and needs to be replaced. Pete
