'69, 2 dr. HT, Rear side quarter glass windows

I have the replacement chrome/rubber seals (vertical) for the windows.

How do I get the old ones off without breaking the glass?

Is the chrome piece on the window and you replace the rubber? Other?

If they are like the ones on my '67 you just have to give them a good yank. The chrome and everything will come off the window along with a few flakes of ancient dead glue. If your glue is slightly stronger, maybe use a piece of wood against the chrome and a few gentle taps with a hammer.
